377.04 SPECIFICATIONS FOR PROTECTIVE HELMET.

Each protective helmet shall be approved to meet the standards of the American Motorcycle Association for Group II Safety Helmets, or shall be a type constructed of an outer shell of semi- resillent material designed to disburse force of impact and having a tensile strength of 6,000 pounds per square inch, and shall also contain inside padding of energy absorbing liner, and be equipped with a chin strap hold-down.
