The Lorain Police Department shall inspect all vehicles seeking designation as a RUSV and shall ensure that the RUSV complies with all applicable laws and regulations governing the operation of RUSVs upon streets and highways in the State of Ohio and such other additional requirements as are specifically set forth herein. Upon certification that a RUSV has passed inspection, the Lorain Police Department shall issue an "Inspection Certificate" verifying that the RUSV has passed inspection. A RUSV shall not operate upon the RUSV-Approved Route without the prominent display of the Inspection Certificate on the RUSV.
