343.01 DEFINITION.
   For purposes of this chapter, the term "Under-Speed Vehicle" shall be understood to mean: a four-wheeled multi-passenger vehicle, with a seating capacity greater than eight (8) passengers and a maximum of twelve (12) passengers. Commonly known as a Peddle Pub, the Under-Speed Vehicle shall be primarily human powered and must be equipped with peddles at each passenger station. A small electric helper motor may also be equipped to provide power; however, it shall be limited to an attainable speed on a paved level surface of not more than twenty (20) miles per hour. The Under-Speed Vehicle must have a gross vehicle weight rating of less than three thousand (3,000) pounds. And shall hereafter be referred to as "Restricted Under-Speed Vehicle" ("RUSV").
