The following fees, charges and expenses and collection procedure are hereby established for applications, zoning permits, amendments, appeals, variances, conditional use permits, plan approvals, and other matters pertaining to the administration and enforcement of this Zoning Ordinance requiring investigations, inspections, legal advertising, postage and other expenses.
The schedule of fees shall be posted in the office of the Building Inspector and may be altered or amended only by Council. Until all applicable fees, charges and expenses have been paid in full, no action shall be taken on any application or appeal.

SIGNS
(a) Every applicant, before being granted a sign permit, shall pay to the City Electrical Inspector the following permit fees for each sign or other advertising structure regulated by Chapter 1191.
(1) Billboards.
A. Square footage not exceeding 300 square feet | $350.00 |
B. Square footage in excess of 300 square feet | $590.00 |
(2) All other signs, anything in excess of fifteen square feet**: | $35.00 plus |
Each | $1 square foot in excess of 15 square feet |
** 12-15-14 amended to insert “square”
(3) An electrical sign requires an Underwriters Laboratories (UL) label or a City approval label pursuant to Section 1191.08(a), the applicant shall pay an additional fee of thirty-five dollars ($35.00) for a City inspection and approval label.
