909.01 DEFINITIONS.
   When used in this Chapter, the following words shall have the following meanings:
   (a)    "Director" means the Director of Public Service or his designee.
   (b)    “Outdoor Dining Area" means a portion of a public sidewalk, court, alley, street, or other public right-of-way that is used by a business establishment to serve food and beverages.
   (c)    “Permit” means a public right-of-way occupancy permit authorized by Section 909.02.
   (d)    “Permittee” means the person who owns the outdoor dining area permitted to occupy an area of the public right-of-way.
   (e)    "Right-of-way" means any sidewalk, court, alley, street or other area dedicated or otherwise designated for public use and held by the City.
   (f)    "Unobstructed Walk” means a clear, continuous paved surface free of tree grates, elevator grates and all vertical obstructions.
