(a) Grounding. All outlets shall be grounded and U-shaped grounded receptacles throughout (three-wire grounded type).
(b) Box Fill. Box fill shall be according to paragraph 370-6, National Electrical Code.
(c) Kitchen.
(1) The following shell be circuited separately:
Dishwasher.
(2) Remaining receptacles shall be wired in the following manner:
Two outlets first circuit;
Three outlets thereafter.
No. 12 wire for receptacles.
An appliance outlet shall be installed for the refrigerator, one on either side of kitchen sink and at other locations in the work area or so laid out to equal every twelve feet of the entire room.
(d) Dining Room. Receptacles shall be wired with No. 12 wire every twelve feet. This room may be wired in with the kitchen circuits.
(e) Living Room. A receptacle every twelve feet and no more than six outlets per circuit and No. 14 gauge wire permissible.
(f) Bedrooms and Bathroom. A receptacle every twelve feet and no more than eight outlets per circuit and No. 14 wire. Bathroom may be included with bedroom circuiting.
(g) Basements. All basements shall be wired in conduit or E.M.T. with conduit fill as per National Electrical Code.
Circuit #1 - Furnace (with fusestat) No. 14 wire.
Circuit #2 - Washing machine, grounded type receptacle No. 12 wire.
Circuit #3 - Gas dryer, grounded type receptacle No. 12 wire.
Circuit #4 - Sump pump, grounded type receptacle No. 14 wire.
(h) Special Equipment. Any air conditioner, electric heater or other special equipment shall be wired on a separate circuit.
(i) Utility Room. Separate circuit for furnace. Washing machine and, if gas dryer, a separate circuit No. 12 gauge wire.
(j) Garage. At least one base plug shall be installed. One light a minimum with switch.
(k) Doors Leading to Outside. All doors leading to the outside shall be illuminated by a light on the outside controlled by a wall switch located just inside such doorway.
