1507.32 EXTERIOR WIRING.
   All corporations, copartnerships, associations or individuals, or agents thereof operating in the City, must install and maintain all their exterior and service wires in any street or alley in the manner required by the Regulations of the Ohio Public Utilities Commission or any orders or regulations now or hereafter existing, made by any duly authorized authority pursuant to the provisions of the Regulations of the Ohio Public Utilities Commission.
   All poles or wires which are not in use and are not maintained in accordance with the safety provisions of this Electrical Code shall, upon written notice by the Chief Electrician, be repaired or removed by the corporation, copartnership, association or individual who owns, operates, controls, manages or has charge of such wires and poles.
   All City signal or light wires removed for any cause shall be replaced by parties removing same to the satisfaction of the Chief Electrician and at no expense to the City.
   The Chief Electrician shall have the power to require all exterior and service wires to be placed and maintained as provided for in this Electrical Code, and on written notice from the Chief Electrician to any corporation, copartnership, association or individual, or agent thereof, calling for the correction or removal of any wires or poles or electrical apparatus of any kind, maintained contrary to the provisions of this Electrical Code, the same shall be immediately removed or corrected by such corporation, copartnership, association or individual, or agent thereof, controlling, managing or owning such wires, poles or apparatus. The Chief Electrician is also authorized and empowered to cause the turning off of the electric current from all conductors or apparatus which is deemed by him to be unsafe or which has not been installed in conformity with the provisions of this Electrical Code.
