(a) The electric utility shall notify the Electrical Inspection Department of all new meter applications or existent meter changes and shall not energize or reenergize any wiring system without notification from the Electrical Inspection Department that such wiring and apparatus conform, or have been brought into conformity with the requirements of this Electrical Code.

(b) There shall be a Meter Inspection fee of fifty dollars ($50.00) due upon application for an electrical meter inspection for all requested inspections.
