The Lorain Port Authority herein created shall be governed by a Board of Directors, composed of nine members appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of Council, who shall serve staggered terms for terms of one, two and three years, and two members for four years, respectively, in accordance with the provisions of Ohio R.C. 4582.03. After the initial appointments, all subsequent appointments shall be for a term of four years. No more than five members of one political party shall be appointed to membership on the Board.
