(a) The Director of Public Service and Safety is hereby authorized to enter into contracts without advertising for bids for work, leasing, rental or use of necessary equipment with private contractors, during emergencies of snow removal or flooding under abnormal conditions in accordance with the provisions of Ohio R.C. 735.051.
(b) The costs of such contracts shall be submitted to the City Auditor for payment with approval of Council. (Ord. 25-78. Passed 2-20-78.)
