Any licensed contractor doing concrete sidewalk work for others on City streets shall be required to make impressions of his name plate on all concrete walks laid. The name plate shall bear the contractor’s name and the year in which the walk is constructed. The imprints shall be made at intervals of not more than fifty feet. At least one imprint shall be made on each section of walk constructed. The letters and figures on the plate used shall be at least three quarters of an inch in height.
