§ 90.15 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   ANIMAL SHELTER. Any premises designated by the City Council for impounding and caring for all animals found running at large.
   ANIMAL WARDEN. Any person, firm, agency or company hired or appointed by the city to assist and/or enforce this subchapter.
   ATTACK. Any unprovoked threatening, aggressive behavior of a dog which puts a reasonable person in fear of immediate bodily harm.
   KENNEL. Any premises where three or more dogs of the same species, over six months of age are kept, boarded, bred and/or offered for sale.
   OWNER. Any person, group of persons or corporation owing, keeping, harboring or having charge or control of or permitting any dog to remain on or be lodged or fed within the owner's house, yard or premises for a period of three days or longer. This term shall not apply to veterinarians or kennel operators temporarily maintaining on their premises dogs owned by others.
   STRAY. Any unlicensed dog, the owner of which is unknown, which is at large within the city.
