(A) Water meter readings will be conducted at the end of each quarter. The year will consist of four quarters, 3 months per quarter. An estimated reading will be used where the reading is not available. All water bills will be payable at the City Clerk/Administrator's Office within 30 days from the date of billing. A finance charge of 1.5% per month will be charged on the overdue bills over 30 days. Thereafter, a past due notice will be sent stating that the past due bill must be paid in full or water service will be discontinued.
(B) The Water Department will discontinue service to the delinquent consumer by shutting off the water at the curb stop. When water service to any premises has been discontinued, service shall not be restored, except upon the full payment of the delinquent bill and an additional fee for restoring the water service has been paid to the city.
