10-6-1: FINDINGS:
It is found that there exist in the City of Long Beach, dwellings and other buildings, structures, and premises that are unfit for human habitation and that are unfit for other uses due to dilapidation; disrepair; structural defects; defects increasing the hazards of fire, accidents, or other calamities; inadequate drainage; overcrowding; or other conditions contrary to the health and welfare of the City's residents. It is the intent of this chapter to incorporate the provisions of chapter 35.80 Revised Code of Washington to clarify and strengthen the City's procedures for abating such unsafe or unfit dwellings, buildings, structures, or premises.
