Any person who knowingly makes any false statement, representation, record, report or other document filed or required to be maintained pursuant to this chapter, or who falsifies, tampers with, or knowingly renders inaccurate any backflow assembly, device or method required under this chapter shall (in addition to civil and/or criminal penalties provided by state law) be guilty of a misdemeanor subject to the general penalty clause of city of Long Beach's guidance manual.
