To more fully encourage, promote, and develop a wider range of participation in town governance in an effort to not only foster a greater sense of civic pride but also for the overall benefit of the community while mitigating the impact of turnover of both elected and appointed positions, the town adopts and imposes term limits for appointments to its commissions, boards, and committees subject to the terms of this subchapter.
