(A) A building permit may be extended for up to an additional four months at no fee if applied for at least ten days prior to original permit expiration.
(B) One additional six-month extension may be obtained at 50% of the original permit fee if applied for before expire of the existing permit.
(C) Before any uncompleted work can be recommenced after the expiration of a permit, a new permit shall be first obtained and a new fee shall be paid in accordance with this chapter.
(D) The Building Commission may grant the requested extension. Both the request for the extension and the Building Commission's decision concerning the extension shall be made part of the building permit file.
