For the purpose of this chapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
GOLF CART. A four wheeled motor vehicle originally and specifically intended/constructed to transport one or more individuals. For purposes of this chapter, and as amended hereafter from time to time, a GOLF CART shall be included in the definition of a slow moving vehicle as the same is defined in IC 9-21-9-1; is not under ordinary circumstances moved, operated, or driven at a speed greater than 25 miles per hour; and is manufactured for use as a GOLF CART regardless of being registered and titled as a vehicle with the State of Indiana.
