Any person, firm, entity, corporation, association, partnership or group which solicits or canvasses in the City without first obtaining a permit as provided herein shall be deemed guilty of an offense and, upon conviction of same, shall be subject to a fine as provided in section 1-4-1 of this Code. Each day of violation shall constitute a separate offense. In addition, the City Council, after hearing and notice, shall have the right to revoke any permit issued. (1990 Code § 9-105)
