The Office of the Electrical Inspector may require from any electrical contractor a set of plans and specifications for any proposed electrical job, in order that the electrical inspector may check such plans and specifications to determine if the proposed electrical installations will comply with the ordinances of the City. Approval of plans and specifications for purposes of issuing a building permit by the City shall not relieve the owner or his agents of responsibility for errors of any kind in drawings and specifications and for compliance with applicable codes.
