A. Permit Required: No building of any class shall be moved from one lot to another lot or tract of land to another location, nor from one lot or tract of land to another lot or tract, unless a written permit therefor has been previously secured from the code enforcement officer. B. Permit Fee: The permit fee for moving a building of any class shall be the sum of twenty nine dollars fifty cents ($29.50), and upon payment thereof, the code enforcement officer shall issue the moving permit. (Ord. 2011-238, 10-17-2011, eff. 10-17-2011)
C. Penalty: It is an offense and unlawful for any person in the city to move any building or structure along or across any thoroughfare of the city without having a permit therefor and, upon conviction thereof, the person shall be punished as provided in section 11-1-11 of this chapter.
