A. Time For Closing Parks: All municipal parks located in the corporate limits of the city shall close at ten o'clock (10:00) P.M., each day.
B. Presence In Parks After Hours Authorized: The city manager and city police chief shall each have the express right to authorize any person, group, or association to remain inside a Lone Grove municipal park beyond the ten o'clock (10:00) P.M., terminal time provided herein for a valid and appropriate purpose or project. C. Signs Posted: The city manager shall take steps to install a sign or poster which outlines the trespassing offense provided herein prior to the effective date hereof. (Ord. 205, eff. 12-31-2000)
D. Violation; Penalty: Any person who is found inside a municipal (city) park between the hours of ten o'clock (10:00) P.M and eight o'clock (8:00) A.M., who has not been authorized by the city manager or the city police chief to stay beyond the ten o'clock (10:00) P.M. period, shall be deemed guilty of an offense and, upon conviction in the municipal court, shall be liable to pay a fine of thirty five dollars ($35.00), plus applicable costs. Each time the individual is found inside a Lone Grove municipal park shall be deemed a separate offense. (Ord. 205, eff. 12-31-2000; amd. 2006 Code)
