Anywhere in this chapter where the words "health officer" are used, they shall be construed to mean the director of the county health department or his duly designated representative, or the code enforcement officer of the city. Any such decisions rendered under this section shall be subject to review by the city council upon an appeal from an offender. (1990 Code § 8-601; amd. 2006 Code)
