No adult uses, sexually oriented businesses, tattoo and/or body piercing businesses shall be located at any time in any residential or agricultural zone of the city of Lone Grove. The city council shall permit "adult uses" as defined in this chapter to be permitted with a business application only in the light industrial zoned area (I-1) of the municipality designated by the city council, subject to the following conditions: (Ord. 2006-217, 8-3-2006, eff. 8-3-2006; amd. A. No adult use or sexually oriented business shall be located closer than one thousand feet (1,000') from another adult use facility within the municipality.
B. No adult use facility/business shall be located closer than one thousand feet (1,000') from any place of worship or religious institution, hospital, school, daycare, public park, public library or other public institution. Measurements to determine location shall be made in a straight horizontal line from the actual building in which the facility/business is located to the nearest aforementioned property boundary.
C. No adult use or sexually oriented business or facility shall be located closer than one thousand feet (1,000') from any residential lot line, residential zoning district or zone, or residential planned unit development. Measurements to determine location shall be made in a straight horizontal line from the actual building in which the facility is located to the nearest property line of said zones or residences.
D. No adult use or sexually oriented business as defined in this chapter shall be located closer than five hundred feet (500') from any other business or establishment selling intoxicating beverages, either on-sale or off-sale.
E. There shall be only one adult use or sexually oriented business as defined in this chapter located in any building, facility, establishment or place of business. (Ord. 2006-217, 8-3-2006, eff. 8-3-2006)
