The definitions defined below have the meanings given them. All other words and/or phrases for which a definition is not provided shall be assumed to retain its common usage as found in a published dictionary.
ADULT USES: Adult bookstores, stores that rent or sell "adult" magazines, VHS tapes, DVDs, adult hotels and motels, adult motion picture theaters, adult mini-motion picture theaters, adult massage parlors, adult health/sports clubs, adult sauna/steam room/bathhouses, tattoo parlors or establishments where tattoos and body piercing services are offered, adult companionship establishments, businesses that offer adult or sexually explicit "toys" or devices that are designed for sexual gratification or entertainment, adult novelty businesses, strip clubs, adult car washes, adult motion picture arcade, panorama booths, adult peepshow booths, adult modeling studios and other premises, enterprises or establishments, businesses, or places open to some or all members of the public at or in which there is an emphasis on the presentation or display, depiction or description of specified sexual activities or specified anatomical areas which the public could see or observe. These types of businesses shall further be defined as "adult uses" or "sexually oriented businesses". This definition does not apply to the practice of medicine, surgery, osteopathy, chiropractic, physical therapy or podiatry by Oklahoma licensed or registered persons.
