(a) Pursuant to Ohio Revised Code (ORC) § 731.231, there is hereby adopted by and for the City the Residential Code of Ohio for One, Two and Three Family Dwellings (RCO), being particularly the 2006 edition thereof, as promulgated by the Ohio Board of Building Standards, and as published in Division 4101:8 of the Ohio Administrative Code (OAC), save and except such portions thereof as may be hereinafter amended or deleted.
(b) Future editions of the RCO, or any amendments or revisions thereof, shall be deemed to be adopted by and for the City upon their publication, unless Council, by ordinance, expressly rejects such future edition, amendment or revision, or any part thereof.
