(a) Whenever the Zoning Administrator (or his or her agent) determines that there is a violation of any provision of this Zoning Code, a dated warning tag shall be issued and shall serve as a notice of violation. Such notice shall:
(1) Be in writing;
(2) Identify the violation;
(3) Include a statement of the reason why it is being issued and refer to the sections of this Zoning Code being violated; and
(4) State the time by which the violation shall be corrected.
(b) Service of a notice of violation shall be by any of these two methods:
(1) Personal delivery to the person responsible or by leaving the notice with a person of suitable age and discretion at the usual place of residence of the person responsible; or
(2) Posting a copy of the notice of violation form in a conspicuous place on the premises found in violation.
