870.04 FIREWORKS AND NOVELTY ITEM RULES AND REGULATIONS.

   (a)   The use of any fireworks is strictly prohibited.

   (b)   Novelty items that produce an offensive or obnoxious odor shall be prohibited.

870.05 INSPECTIONS.

   Representatives from the Fire Department, Building Department, and Madison County Department of Health will be on the streets prior to and during the event to handle the inspections. Failure to adhere to these safety rules and regulations could result in expulsion from the event.

870.06 BICYCLISTS AND SKATEBOARDERS.

   In addition to the event rules and regulations of this chapter, all bicyclists and skateboarders are to be dismounted in the festival/fair area.

870.07 APPLICATION OF RULES AND REGULATIONS.

   This chapter does not in any way affect the Building and Zoning Code or any other local, state or federal codes that would apply.
