260.14 HIRING AND PROMOTION CRITERIA.
   (a)   Step increases for part-time employees will be based on the same method as for full-time employees. No employee shall receive more than one step increase per year and then only upon receiving one above average performance evaluation by the respective department head.
   (b)   If an individual has a promotion within the City, he or she will be moved to the grade for which his or her promotion applies and to the lowest step that gives him or her an increase in salary.
   (c)   The appointing authorities for the City of London have the ability to hire employees based on their experience for the job for which they are applying and can determine at which step in such grade the prospective employee will be placed.
