(a) The current bicycle route through the City will remain as the bypass route, with changes to the Eastern end as follows: starting at the trail end at Maple Street, North to East First Street, West to S. Main Street, South to West Center Street, West to Olive Street, North to Richardson Avenue, West to Midway Street and north to the trail.
(b) A second route through the City, to be known as the business route, will be as follows: starting at the trail end at Midway Street, North to West High Street, East to South Main Street, South to East First Street, East to Maple Street, South to the trail.
(c) Bicycles are permitted to use the sidewalks in the business areas.
(d) The Friends of Madison Parks and Trails are permitted and encouraged to develop and implement pavement markings or other methods to inform bicycle riders of businesses that are not situated along the official bike route.
