(a) Pursuant to Ohio R.C. 731.231, there is hereby adopted by and for the City the International Property Maintenance Code, being particularly the 1998 edition thereof, promulgated by the International Code Council (ICC), save and except such portions thereof as may be hereinafter amended or deleted.
(b) Future editions of the
International Property Maintenance Code, or any amendments or revisions thereof, shall be deemed to be adopted by and for the City upon their publication, unless Council, by ordinance, expressly rejects such future edition, amendment or revision, or any part thereof.
