Whenever a certificate of appropriateness is required, whoever constructs, alters modifies, or demolishes any exterior feature of any property or area over the objection of the Review Board, or changes or installs signs, awnings, or appurtenances in violation of this chapter, is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree. For a first violation. For each subsequent violation, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree. Each week during which a violation continues shall constitute a subsequent violation. The City of London may institute appropriate proceedings to prevent such unlawful change.
