1442.07 VIOLATIONS AS NUISANCES; ABATEMENT.
   (a)   It is hereby declared that any violation or act or omission contrary to the provisions of this Building Code shall constitute a public nuisance, and, in addition to any other remedies provided by law and this Building Code for its enforcement, the City may bring a civil action to enjoin the violation of any provision of this Building Code.
   (b)   No person, firm or corporation, whether as owner, lessee, sublessee or occupant, shall erect, construct, enlarge, structurally alter, structurally repair, convert, demolish, occupy, equip or maintain any building or premises, or cause or permit the same to be done, contrary to or in violation of any of the provisions of this Building Code or any order or notice issued by the Building Inspector hereunder.
