The provisions and requirements of this Building Code shall be construed to be minimum requirements, and, where not in conflict with any specific provisions herein, nothing herein shall prohibit any person from exceeding these minimum requirements.
The provisions of this Building Code shall supplement any and all laws of the State of Ohio, ordinances of the City of London and laws or rules promulgated by authority of such laws, relating to the purpose and scope of this Building Code. When the requirement of any other lawfully adopted rule, regulation or law is in conflict, the more restrictive shall apply.
