This Zoning Code (text and Map), as herein set forth, is established in accordance with, and predicated upon, the London Comprehensive Development Plan, and is designed to ensure that adequate light, air, convenience of access and safety from fire, flood and other danger may be secured; that congestion in the public streets may be lessened or avoided; and that the public health, safety, morals, convenience and general welfare may be promoted. This Zoning Code is made with reasonable regard to existing conditions; the character of buildings erected in each zoning district; the most desirable use for which the land in each zoning district may be adapted and the conservation of property values; and any other purpose provided in this Zoning Code, in the Ohio Revised Code or under common law rulings.
