(a) "Charitable organization," as used in this section, means an exempt organization as defined in the United States Internal Revenue Code, as amended.
(b) No person or group shall seek or solicit any donation, contribution or gift to any charitable organization on sidewalks of the City without giving the Police Department the following information:
(1) The name, address, telephone number and position of each person soliciting;
(2) The name, address and telephone number of the charitable organization;
(3) The proposed times for solicitations or sales;
(4) The proposed places for solicitations or sales; and
(5) The type of activity proposed.
(c) Solicitation for any donation, contribution or gift is prohibited on all streets and intersections within the City limits.
