Notwithstanding any other provision of these Codified Ordinances, no person engaged in business as a canvasser, peddler, hawker, itinerant merchant or transient vendor shall call at any residence in the City which displays a no solicitation sign, or a sign substantially equivalent thereto, giving notice that the residents thereof desire not to be solicited.
