§ 153.03 LIVING IN ACCESSORY STRUCTURES.
   (A)   Definition. As used herein, an ACCESSORY STRUCTURE is a separate and legally permitted building or structure located on the same legal parcel as a primary or principal use building. ACCESSORY STRUCTURES include, but are not limited to, garages, garden and tool sheds, carports, fences, walls and playhouses.
   (B)   Human habitation prohibited. Accessory structures shall not be used for human habitation under any circumstances.
   (C)   Security. All accessory structures shall be locked and secured when feasible to prevent entry by unauthorized individuals.
   (D)   Structurally sound. All accessory structures, including but not limited to detached garages, fences and walls, shall be maintained in a structurally sound condition and in compliance with this chapter.
   (E)   Violations and penalties. Any person, owner, tenant, or occupant violating any provision of this section shall be guilty of a first-degree misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be fined not more than $1,000 for each offense. Every day that a violation continues shall constitute a separate and distinct offense.
