§ 157.046 ACTION BY BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS.
   Within 30 days after the final public hearing, the Board of Zoning Appeals shall either approve, approve with supplementary conditions, or disapprove the request for appeal or variance. The Board may, in conformity with the provisions of this chapter and law, reverse or affirm, wholly or partly, or may modify the order, requirement, decision, or determination of the Zoning Inspector. Upon making a final decision the Board shall notify the applicant and the Zoning Inspector. The Zoning Inspector shall issue a permit, if the appeal or variance is approved, in conformance with the action of the Board, including the attachment of supplementary conditions and safeguards. The permit becomes effective on the sixth day after the issuance of a permit unless a notice of intent to appeal is filed with the Clerk of Council within five days from the issuance of the permit. The Zoning Inspector, in issuing a zoning permit in conformance with this section is not required to publish the notice required by § 157.023 in a newspaper of general circulation.
