Upon the adoption by the Town Board of Trustees, this Code is hereby declared to be and shall hereafter constitute the official Town Code of Locust Grove. This Code of ordinances shall be known and cited as the LOCUST GROVE TOWN CODE and is hereby published with the authority granted in 11 Oklahoma Statutes sections 14-108 and 14-109 and shall be supplemented to incorporate the most recent legislation of the Town as provided in section 1-1-3 of this chapter. This Code may also be cited as "Town Code" or in the provisions that follow, "this Code". Any reference to the number of any section contained herein shall be understood to refer to the position of the same number, its appropriate chapter and title headings, and to the general penalty clause relating thereto, as well as to the section itself, when reference is made to this Code by title in any legal documents.
