(A) Concealed weapons. It shall be unlawful for any person to carry any concealed weapon in the city unless permitted to do so by state law or by ordinance.
(B) Discharge of firearms or airguns. It shall be unlawful for any person to discharge any firearms, airguns or BB guns within the limits of the city, except in the performance of public duty or in defense of one’s person or property.
(C) Exception. The discharge of firearms shall be allowed in those areas specifically exempted by an annexation agreement or on a lawfully established outdoor recreational or training business.
(D) Penalty. In addition to all other remedies, including, but limited to confiscation of the firearms, airguns, or BB guns used in violation of this section, any person who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with any provision of this section shall be sentenced as provided in § 10.99 of this code for each offense.
