(A) It is unlawful for any person knowingly to possess a controlled substance except with proper medical prescription as authorized by the Compassionate Use of Medical Cannabis Pilot Program Act or as authorized under the Illinois Cannabis Regulation, within corporate limits of the city.
(B) The term CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE as used in this section shall have the meaning ascribed to it by the Illinois Controlled Substances Act, ILCS Ch. 720, Act 570, §§ 100 et seq., as amended.
