For purposes of this chapter the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
CONTRACTOR. Any person engaged in the business of constructing, altering or repairing buildings or other structures or sidewalk or street pavements including, but not limited to, general building contractors, cement or concrete contractors;
masonry contractors; carpentry contractors; acoustical contractors; electrical contractors; excavating contractors; fencing contractors; garage contractors; glazing contractors; heating, air conditioning and refrigeration contractors; plumbing contractors; porch, deck contractors; roofing contractors; sewer and drain layers; window contractors; wrecking contractors; landscape contractors; swimming pool contractors; insulation contractors; waterproofing contractors; siding contractors; sign contractors.
PERSON. Any individual, partnership, firm, association, corporation, trust or other legal entity.
