§ 93.152 COSTS OF ABATEMENT.
   In addition to the remedies provided for the collection of the expense of removing any nuisance, notice may be given to the offender of the nuisance, when known, or to the owner of the property, to abate the same in the manner required by the foregoing section. Service of the notice to abate can be effected by posting on the property or by first class mail to the last known address of the property owner. In case of his or her neglect or refusal to abate the same in accordance with the notice, he or she shall be chargeable with the expenses that may be incurred by the city in the removal thereof, to be collected by suit or otherwise recorded as a lien against the property, in addition to the fine or penalty.
