Any person, firm or corporation engaged in or in preparation to engage in, or in preparation of or maintenance of equipment used in but not limited to the following activities: construction, repair, earthmoving, excavation, operation of construction vehicles, roofing, siding application, landscaping, landscape maintenance, lawn maintenance, mechanical work or any other work activity performed out of doors or under roof of any garage, shed or other accessory structure, and producing noise from such activity, shall be charged with an ordinance violation and subject to penalty as set forth in § 10.99, or shall pay a fee as set forth under the city's administrative ticketing powers, Ch. 38.
