§ 93.005 UNCONNECTED SEWER DRAIN.
   The use, maintenance, and operation of all outside vaults, closets, privies, or toilets on all lots, parcel of lots, or other premises abutting on, adjacent to, or within 100 feet of public sewers and water supply located and in operation in any public street, avenue, alley, or highway are declared to be a public nuisance, and all persons owning such property shall, within 60 days after the establishment of the adjacent or accessible sewer and water supply, abate the nuisance either by removing or abandoning the outside toilets, vaults, closets, or privies, or by connecting the premises with the public sewer serving their property so as to carry off refuse, offal, or night soil from the premises. Abandonment of the vaults, closets, or privies shall include the application of suitable chemicals to decompose any deposits and coverage with clean earth.
