§ 91.04 LOCATION AND SIZE OF NUMBERS.
   (A)   Residential buildings shall have approved address numbers placed in a position to be plainly legible and visible from the street or road fronting the property. Address numbers shall be in Arabic numerals. These numbers shall contrast with their background. Address numbers shall be not less than four inches (102 mm) in height with a minimum stroke width of 0.5 inch (12.7 mm).
   (B)   Commercial buildings and commercial tenant spaces, including multi-unit residential buildings, shall have approved address numbers, building numbers or approved building identification placed in a position that is plainly legible and visible from the street or road fronting the property. Address numbers shall be Arabic numerals. These numbers shall contrast with their background. Exterior numbers shall be a minimum of six inches high. All tenant spaces shall have numbers that are a minimum four inches height and shall be posted to clearly identify the main entry/egress/service door to the tenant space. Rear doors of structures shall also be addressed, or as determined by the Fire Code official.
