§ 51.137 BURDEN OF PROOF IN CERTAIN CASES.
   The water meter or wastewater flow meter utilized in the water and sanitary sewer systems of the city are presumed to be accurate. Any person claiming that the water usage or wastewater discharge recorded by a water meter or wastewater flow meter is inaccurate has the burden of providing positive evidence of structural fault with the water meter or wastewater flow meter or fault in the manner in which readings from the meters were obtained.
