§ 34.39 MAINTENANCE OF RECORDS.
   Every person required to collect the tax imposed by this subchapter shall keep records which are adequate to reflect the information which Tax Collectors submit to the city. All information received by the city from the returns filed under this subchapter or from any audit or investigation conducted under this subchapter shall be confidential unless examination or disclosure is required by applicable law or required in litigation. Nothing in this subchapter prevents the city from publishing or making available to the public the names and addresses of persons filing returns under this subchapter or statistics concerning the operation and collection of the tax by grouping the contents of the returns so the information of any individual return is not disclosed.
