The City Treasurer elected and qualified to hold office as City Treasurer as a result of the general consolidated election of held in 2025 shall receive as compensation for services as the City Treasurer the sum of $166.67 per month for a total of $2,000 per annum. Thereafter, the compensation of any subsequent City Treasurer elected or appointed shall be increased by an amount calculated based on the annual Consumer Price Index realized during the prior term. Additionally, the City Treasurer shall be entitled to obtain, at the City Treasurer’s sole expense, health insurance provided to the employees of the city.
